Our story
We are a family united by the passion for good food and the culture that has accompanied us over the years.
Founded by José Luis and Blanca Navarrete, our story began in 2020 with a food truck, where we offered authentic Mexican and Mediterranean flavors to the residents of Pittsburgh and its surrounding areas. Since then, we have earned the love of our community, offering a menu full of freshness, tradition and that homemade touch that characterizes us.
In early 2024, we took another step in our adventure and opened our taco shop in Homestead, PA, a warm and welcoming space where we invite everyone to enjoy our favorite dishes. In December 2024, we are proud to have received our liquor license, allowing us to offer an even more complete dining experience with a selection of drinks to accompany our delicacies.
What makes Los Gallitos unique is that we are a true family working together. José Luis and Blanca, as founders, oversee every aspect of the business with dedication and love for what we do. Our children, Hector and Angel, are also involved in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, bringing their energy and creativity to continue innovating and keeping our tradition alive.
